Have you heard about the Ration Challenge? Well, if not I am here to educate you and to ask for a couple of pennies to help Syrian Refugees.
The Ration Challenge is run by the charity Concern WorldWide. The idea is that for a week in September (13th-19th) you eat the same as what a refugee has access to in terms of rations given to them from aid companies.
The ration box contains:
120g sardines (or vegan/veggie substitute)
400g kidney beans
330ml vegetable oil
and then an extra 1.5kg of rice and 400g of flour from the ‘coupons’.
This is not a lot of food at all, the coupons act as other aid that refugees may receive from other charities. All money donated goes towards helping refugees during their time of need.
If you see this post and sponsored just £1 we could raise so much money to help those who really need it especially during these even more difficult times.
Thank you so much for reading this post and for any money that you donate to the cause!! I am back in action on my blog after feeling very unmotivated these last few months, after all I have been doing nothing so not much to write about. If you want to read my last blog post you can find it here, about my 14 days in quarantine.
